So you desire to rent your home but believe your neighbors will HATE you and or the occupant is likely to damage your house! I have addressed concerns like this several times. At times the neighbors hold animosity for the knowledge that your home will be regarded as a rental real estate property and it angers them into inflating tales they are definitely more than ready to tell you!

The truth of the matter is, everything will usually workout well for everyone. The times I have come across a neighbor that I feel is simply being unfair in their judgement, I just ask them if they are ready to pay the home loan for the landlord in lieu of it being leased out. I’ll tell you, no one has ever taken me up on that one!!!! The neighbor assumes if they cause enough grief with the property owner, he or she will give up on the thought of renting. What happens then, is the property owner ends up with no inbound cash flow. The neighbor does not care if the owners lose their hard earned money and looses everything, as long as the neighbor is happy. Food for thought; the neighbor who complained the most will hang their head in despair if the home gets foreclosed on and his own property values drops 15%. They then will complain because they don’t understand why the value of their house keeps going down and the place is empty. “But hey, they got their way and don’t have any of those renters around here making the place look bad!!”
So what I’m trying to say is don’t listen to that neighbor!!! Let SPM of Memphis find the perfect person to become their new neighbor!! Let’s get you some income and help to cover your house note!!!!
